I'm Ida Huttunen, and I live in Finland, Lappeenranta. I have owned dogs ever since I was 10 years old. Dogs are family members to us. They live with us, and we enjoy forest walks & ordinary life with them. 

 

My first dog was golden retriever Bothwell Carelian Jewel, Moona. Moona wasn't a show dog (of course I tried 😁), but she taught me a lot about doggie life.

As a child I competed in Junior handler competitions. I loved to handle different breeds, but one special dog was Jasu the sheltie (officially Ch Helskon Joosef). Soon I got my own sheltie Wilma, Tähtihovin Bluebell Angel whose father Jasu was. With Wilma we started racing in agility and behavior tests.

2009 I got my first english setter. I fell in love that funny little pup, with lots of spots. This dog was Diiva, Vuokkosen Sweet Melody. Since then english setters have been big part of my life. The ever-wagging-tail and joyfull, outgoing temperament is something very special.

Isla, Blue Baltic's Army Of Lovers is the dream who came true. She has been my ticket to breeding world and what can I say... hope her legacy will continue under the Silver Isle's.
